The Legend Of Happiness
Evgeny is passionate about passing on the wisdom of his culture through storytelling. He uses puppets—replicas he crafted himself, inspired by models from an ethnographic museum—along with traditional dances and the accompaniment of the two-stringed circassian instrument, the apapshin.
The legend of happiness is reminiscent of dzheg, an ancient form of storytelling through primitive puppet theater, where, as the author says, the most important matters are discussed. An alternate title is namys, love, dignity, hope and many more meanings of this word in circassian.
