Yuri Butusov

Yuri Butusov was born on September 24, 1961, in town of Gatchina, near Leningrad.
In 1996 he graduated from St Petersburg Theatre Academy. Chief director and artistic director of the St. Petersburg „Lensovet“ Academic Theater named after him (2011-2018), chief director of the Vakhtangov Theater in Moscow (2018-2022). Multiple Golden Mask Award winner; teacher. Mr.Butusov has lived in France since 2022.
